Gerard McCabe has had a passion for all things that glitter for as long as he can remember. "Growing up in a family of jewellers prepared me well and I appreciated fine jewellery from an early age", he recalls when describing how he followed on in the footsteps of his father and grandfather.

The Gerard McCabe tradition started back in 1932 with Gerard's granfather Frank. In 1986, Gerard and his wife Pauline started Gerard McCabe Jewellers, and today this business is one of Adelaide's leading jewellery maunfacturers and retailers.

"The creation of fine jewellery is more than my business, it is truly my passion, it is what i love to do. To find a stone, and design and create a piece to compliment its beauty is a great joy. So too is finding that special piece of antique jewellery".

Gerard McCabe's original showroom is situated within the grand surroundings of the 120 year old Adelaide Aracade and the store's elegant decor compliments the rich history of the building. Their Rundle Mall Plaza showroom represents the other end of the style spectrum with its sleek and contemporary feel.
