Our Mission
We fund research into finding better, less painful treatments for children with crippling growth problems.
Our Vison
We work to improve quality of life for children with crippling growth problems.
Our Research Goals
The cartilage-like growth plate situated near the ends of a bone is responsible for the longitudinal growth of that bone in children.
Technically, our research aims to:
- Understand the structure and function of the growth plate in:
- normal bone growth
- skeletal growth disorders
- injury-induced bone growth arrest
- Investigate growth factor- and/or cell-based therapies for growth plate
injuries and disorders.
